Our lens products are offered in a variety of materials, styles, and treatments. Our large selection of lenses includes invisible, no-line bifocals, plastic, photochromatic, customized fashion tinting, and more. We carry lens products from Transitions®, Crizal® and Varilux®, this allows us to provide the perfect pair of prescription glasses in the Buffalo, NY area.
The options available to you for the lenses of your prescription glasses don’t end at material choice.
- Photosensitive Lenses
We offer photosensitive lenses, which transition from light to dark when you go outdoors. Our photosensitive lens options include Transitions® plastic lenses and PhotoGray Extra glass lenses.
- Single Vision Lenses
Single vision lenses offer vision correction for people who are nearsighted, farsighted, or have trouble seeing when they are reading. They offer a single strength throughout the entire lens.
- Bifocal, Trifocal, and Progressive Lenses
Bifocal lenses offer two prescriptions in a single lens, splitting your lens for near and distance vision correction. Similarly to bifocals, trifocals offer near, distance, and mid-range vision correction in each lens. Progressive or “no line lenses” offer clear continuous near, mid-range, and distance vision without aging segment lines.
- Aspheric Lenses
Aspheric lenses look slimmer in frames and make your eyes look more natural in size. These lenses are available in single vision, bifocal, and progressive styles.
- Special Lens Treatment Options
We offer scratch protection for our lenses, which protects lenses from scratches that can compromise the optical quality of your lenses and deter from the attractiveness of your eye glasses as a whole.
Lens materials that we offer include glass, plastic, and thin and light lenses.
Glass lenses offer durability and scratch resistance, although they weigh approximately twice as much as plastic lenses. Plastic lenses are much lighter than glass, though they scratch more easily. We offer scratch-resistant coating for plastic lenses to protect them from everyday use and scratches. Thin and light lenses are made of a high-index material that offers greater comfort than glass and plastic and looks more attractive than other materials.
